Beginner Illustrator for Children's Projects

Children’s Book Illustrator is needed in United States.

We are seeking a beginner-level children’s illustrator for a single job with the possibility of follow-up work at Lou Lou’s Library. The project involves creating illustrations for a sample children’s book focused on children’s fashion, exploring the laws and safest styles for various types of clothing, even including items like dresses and bandaids. The illustrator should be comfortable with drawing, pen and ink, paper folding, and photography. This assignment is especially suited for fashion students or illustrators looking to build their portfolio, as it is a review-based creative project with support from well-known pattern brands. The company is based in the United States, and applicants must also be located in the United States, though all work will be remote. The work will involve collaborating closely with us and adapting to new directions for illustrative notes, aiming to provide engaging visuals for a fun and educational children’s adventure series. Delivery can be scheduled monthly, and we are currently in the planning and research stage.
