Job Description

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a passion for creating engaging and user-friendly websites. You will be responsible for maintaining our WordPress site, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. A solid understanding of various programming languages and frameworks is essential for this role.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in editing and maintaining website and content in WordPress
  • Familiarity with WordPress core functions, theme development, and plugin architecture.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles to enhance user flows on websites.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms integrated into WordPress sites is advantageous.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
  • Create visually appealing web layouts.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
  • Implement data visualization tools to present information effectively on the web.
  • Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to manage site content efficiently.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across all devices.

Additional Information

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.29 - $30.46 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week

Work Location: Remote
