Job Description

We are seeking an experienced videographer/editor to help bring a professional coaching program to life. This role involves recording and editing 12 long-form videos (30–40 minutes each), with filming scheduled on weekends over a couple of weeks. The ideal candidate will provide or recommend a suitable recording environment, supply all necessary equipment, and deliver polished, engaging videos that reflect a calm and supportive style.

This project will begin with a test run of one video to ensure the right fit, with potential for ongoing monthly video projects after the initial program is complete.

Requirements

Duties:

• Set up and operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment for professional-quality recording.
• Record 12 long-form coaching videos (30–40 minutes each) over scheduled weekend sessions.
• Provide or recommend a recording location (studio preferred, or suitable alternative).
• Collaborate with me to ensure the videos maintain a calm, professional, and engaging style.
• Trim mistakes and smooth transitions.
• Add text overlays, graphics, and b-roll (as needed).
• Perform color correction and audio cleanup.
• Deliver fully edited videos in ready-to-publish formats (MP4 or similar).
• Conduct a test run video to confirm workflow and compatibility before proceeding with the full project.
• Maintain clear communication on project timelines, edits, and delivery.

Skills:

• Experience as a videographer/editor, with a portfolio of similar work (preferably educational, coaching, or online course content).
• Strong knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio recording techniques.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Ability to create a calm, polished, and engaging look and feel that aligns with a coaching/educational style.
• Skilled in adding text overlays, graphics, and b-roll to enhance viewer engagement.
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and audience connection.
• Excellent communication and reliability for coordinating multi-weekend sessions.
• Ability to manage files and deliver edited videos in standard formats (MP4, HD/4K).
