Maya + Unreal Engine 5 Team for Stylised Kids CG Shorts (YouTube-first)
We are looking for a partner studio or assembled freelance team to help deliver a slate of stylised children’s CG shorts for YouTube and TikTok, using Maya and Unreal Engine 5. The initial project is a 60–90 second pilot with stylised characters and props, with the potential to expand to a 12-episode series (3–5 minutes per episode) delivered in multiple aspect ratios. We require expertise in character and prop modelling, rigging, animation, look-dev/lighting, and final compositing for a real-time, non-photoreal CG pipeline, along with experience optimising assets for quick iteration and social-first delivery. Applicants should have a strong understanding of child-friendly tone, storytelling, and clear visual staging, plus the skills to handle UE5 scene builds, cloth/hair simulation, technical optimisation, and efficient delivery management. Collaboration will be remote, with clear English communication and the ability to overlap with UK mornings preferred. Example styles can be found here: .
