This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

• Contract type: Independent Contractor
• Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8 hours per day; 40 hours per week
• 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Philadelphia, PA Time with 30 minutes paid break

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to manage our Google Business Profile (GBP), drive local SEO, create engaging short‑form content, and keep our WordPress (WP Engine) site running smoothly. You’ll handle updates, troubleshoot hosting issues, and help us stay ahead of digital trends.

About the Role:

• Update and maintain WordPress site (content, plugins, SEO best practices, performance, user experience, uptime).
• Bonus: Experience in legal, medical, or local service-based lead gen

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize GBP: posts, Q&A, photos, reviews, and local rankings in our key markets (NJ & PA).
• Create and schedule short‑form video and social content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Pitch and test creative ideas.
• Track and report on leads, calls, rankings, clicks (not vanity metrics)
• Stay ahead of changes to Google, AI and social media trends.
• Resolve hosting issues (SSL, DNS, caching, backups) and coordinate with leadership and vendors when needed.
• Collaborate with leadership on priorities and strategy.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years in digital marketing with experience managing GBP.
• WordPress and WP Engine experience; ability to troubleshoot hosting issues.
• Strong portfolio of short‑form video and social content with measurable results
• Proficiency with Canva, CapCut (or similar), ChatGPT and/or other AI platforms, and scheduling tools.
• Curiosity about AI, SEO, and social trends.
