App for a smart safety chain (necklace)

App Developer is needed in Netherlands.

We are looking for a developer or development team to build a simple but reliable mobile app (iOS and Android) that connects to a smart jewelry piece (necklace). The necklace has a hidden button which, when pressed twice, triggers an alarm to notify the user and their selected contacts. The app will allow registration via phone number or email, add and manage up to five contacts, and support real-time chat with contacts. When the necklace is activated, the app will automatically send notifications and/or SMS, including the user’s GPS location, to all selected contacts. There should be a test mode to simulate the alarm, a simple interface, and controls over notifications and location sharing. The core technical requirement is integration with a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module in the necklace, which the app must detect and respond to, even when running in the background. The BLE module will provide both an alarm signal and a unique identifier for device pairing. We recommend building the app using Flutter or React Native for both iOS and Android. The developer should ideally be Dutch-speaking, and must be based in the Netherlands.
