🧑‍🎤 Roles

Main Character (MC)
• Gender: Male
• Age: 25–40
• Ethnicity: Black / African American
• Description: Everyday man driving home when confronted by police. Needs to convey subtle tension, fear, and resilience without heavy dialogue. Majority of the performance will be facial expressions, physical reactions, and emotional depth.
• Lines: Minimal dialogue — key line: “Not this shit again…”
• Requirements: Comfortable performing intense emotional scenes, being physically directed (getting pulled out of car, restrained on ground). No stunts beyond safe stage combat.

⸻

Officer 1 (Lead Cop)
• Gender: Male
• Age: 30–50
• Ethnicity: Open (but looking for someone who can embody authority)
• Description: The aggressor — intimidating, manipulative, quick to escalate. Portrayed as calm but violent.
• Lines:
• “Where you headed, n**er?”
• “Step out of the vehicle!”
• “Requesting backup.”
• Requirements: Strong acting presence, must be comfortable portraying racism and violence on-screen (this role is antagonistic). Some light physical staging (baton use, grabbing actor) required, with choreography and safety precautions in place.

⸻

Officer 2 (Backup Cop)
• Gender: Male
• Age: 25–45
• Ethnicity: Open
• Description: Follows Officer 1’s lead. Joins in physical escalation. Less dialogue, but physically present in key scenes.
• Lines: None scripted (mainly background presence and action).
• Requirements: Must be comfortable with stage combat choreography (simulated strikes, physical positioning).

⸻

🎥 Tone & Style
• Serious, dramatic, PSA-inspired.
• No comedy — raw, realistic, emotional.
• Focus is on the fear of the MC and the power imbalance.
• Final reveal centers on the Omi device (wearable AI technology that records the truth).

⸻

⚠️ Important Notes for Actors
• Scenes involve simulated police brutality (all stunts will be choreographed and safely rehearsed).
• Actor safety and professionalism are a priority.
• The project is intended to highlight accountability and technology’s role in justice, not to sensationalize violence.
