Job Description

Freelance Web DeveloperWe are looking for a freelance web designer proficient in WordPress & WooCommerce for a website redesign project. The ideal candidate will have experience with template-based content management systems and hosting environments (e.g., GoDaddy). The candidate will also have deep experiences with e-commerce applications/platforms.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Expert level experience in WordPress
• Expert level experience with WooCommerce
• Solid understanding of migration from staging to live servers
• Solid understanding in CSS, responsive design, and HTML5
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Solid grasp of MySQL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail (margins, fonts, colors, etc)
• Track record of WordPress websites utilizing WooCommerce

Responsibilities

• Develop a website using WordPress based off the graphic designer’s finished design
• Translate Photoshop design to WordPress environment
• Ensure UX/UI reflects approved design
• Transition staging site to live server site
