Project Overview:

Our client is looking for a UI/UX Designer to support their events team on a project. As the UI/UX Designer, you’ll be a part of the Demos & Experiments team, which produces content for various products and solutions. This particular project is dedicated to the Olympics, where you’ll serve as the Digital Design Lead for Olympics (Apex Agent) work. You will design and establish digital direction for experiments, film, and other media.

We are looking for a strong Designer to partner with our team of producers, creatives, and agencies to execute our roadmap. Our client prioritizes the user experience, especially in events and experiences, focusing on all aspects of an attendee’s journey.

Requirements

Overall Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for supporting the Demos and Experiments team by defining the end-to-end design language for our key digital experiences. This includes building visual elements while adhering to our internal brand style guide and translating strategy into best-in-class digital experiences. Comfort in creative brainstorming and translating concepts into visual art such as illustrations and web experiences is essential.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

• Concepting, Wireframing, Visual Design & Prototyping: Creating visually appealing and functional user interfaces, developing designs into interactive prototypes, and iterating based on feedback.
• Design Alignment, Feedback & Iteration: Ensuring external agency designs align with brand guidelines and user needs, providing feedback, and collaborating on revisions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to maintain design vision and implementation throughout development.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• An impressive portfolio demonstrating responsive web design projects and/or mobile applications, with your contribution being 80% of the visual design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting designs and creative solutions.
• 7+ years of experience in digital design, particularly for interactive websites and mobile applications.
• Experience in digital strategy and creative ideation related to interactive products/experiences.
• Experience within the technology sector or a significant commercial background in an agency or design studio.
• Understanding of the marketing landscape and customer profiles.
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities.
• A proven track record of being a self-starter.
• Belief in collaboration and inclusion for achieving creative success.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience managing design systems using tools like Figma, Sketch, or InVision.
• Familiarity with video and photo editing programs (Adobe Suite).
• Background in product design requirements for production.
• Experience with projects that integrate physical and digital elements.
• Cross-functional teamwork experience.
• History of co-leading development and execution of digital experiences/interactive content.
• Writing and editing skills, particularly in crafting storylines and architectures.
• Brand or creative experience.
• Experience in global technology companies with interdisciplinary teams of 10+ people.
