Freelance Student Videographer

Videographer is needed in Perth, Australia.

We are seeking a student freelance videographer to document our upcoming conference in Perth, Australia, on behalf of our company, CLIG. The job involves recording various aspects of the event, including the venue setup, registration, keynote speeches, panel discussions, networking activities, and audience interactions. You’ll need to bring your own camera, tripod, and mobile phone. You should also be able to conduct brief interviews with speakers or attendees if time allows. After filming, you’ll be responsible for editing and producing a highlight reel, to be delivered within an agreed timeframe. Candidates should be currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a film or media program, with experience handling video equipment and a good command of editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. Familiarity with event videography, basic sound and lighting techniques, and live streaming is a plus. The position requires being onsite in Perth for a day or two around the event, and the final video must be completed and delivered by September 16th.
