Job Description

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining full stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) on the back end and modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue on the front end. The candidate will lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions, collaborating closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions aligned with business goals. Responsibilities include designing and developing RESTful APIs, building responsive UI components, contributing to DevOps practices, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and providing mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience as an Application Developer with the ability to translate complex business processes into technical solutions.
• Proven expertise in full stack development, demonstrating hands-on experience in front-end and back-end technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Solid front-end development skills using Angular, React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• In-depth experience with Microservices architecture and deployment on cloud platforms.
• Thorough understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web service integration.
• Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., IBM MQ or equivalent technologies).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Strong background in DevOps practices and tools including Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Maven.
• Expertise in modern security protocols and authentication frameworks (e.g., OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect).
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills; ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills, capable of coordinating with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile and Hybrid environments (Scrum, Kanban), with a strong track record of translating business requirements into user stories.
• Understanding of enterprise software integration, APIs, and middleware.
• Ability to identify functional and technical gaps in existing systems and designing targeted solutions.

Location

• Local candidates ONLY, within 2 hours of Dimondale, MI at time of submission.
• Position has a hybrid schedule (2-5 days onsite/week). NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION, on-site attendance required from day one.
• Working hours: Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships available.
• Must undergo a background check and drug screening.

Employment Terms

• This is a W2 position.
• 40 hours per week.
• HYBRID schedule (2-5 days onsite/week). NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.
