Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital design and a passion for creating engaging and user-friendly websites. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites that not only meet the needs of our clients but also adhere to best practices in usability, accessibility, and SEO. This role requires a blend of technical skills and artistic vision to deliver high-quality web experiences.

Requirements

• Proficient in graphic design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, and After Effects.
• Strong understanding of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, AJAX, SCSS, and Less.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
• Familiarity with wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Axure.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics for data-driven decision making.
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies including email marketing (Mailchimp) and social media integration.
• Excellent typography skills with an eye for layout design and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on user-centered design principles.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients and team members to define website goals and requirements.
• Design visually appealing and user-friendly layouts using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Sketch.
• Develop responsive web designs that function seamlessly across various devices and browsers.
• Implement front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap or Angular.
• Create wireframes and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance website functionality and user experience (UX).
• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and traffic.
• Maintain website content through content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal.
• Collaborate with developers on back-end integration using PHP, MySQL, or Node.js.
• Stay updated on industry trends in web design, digital marketing, and technology advancements.

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.98 - $34.90 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week

Work Location: Remote
