The Halen super-app offers multiple services in a $1.5 trillion immediately addressable market; merging rideshare, vacation rental, flight booking, grocery, food, and retail delivery into the one-stop-shop app.
Requirements
- Strong modern Typescript Node.js development skills.
- Strong understanding of REST API design and implementation.
- Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
- Experience with AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Batch, CloudFront, S3, and lambda.
- Experience with Docker and container-based development in a Linux environment.
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Bonus: Experience with big data or geospatial data and services.
Responsibilities
- Coding- designing, building, and maintaining.
- Directing software development projects.
- Producing, testing, and debugging code.
- Leading engineers and developers.
- Optimizing servers for speed and stability.
- Building security structures.
- Generating reusable code libraries.
- Creating data storage solutions.
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
- Review and debug code.
- Perform validation and verification testing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
- Document development phases and monitor systems.
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies.
Selection Process
Selection process consists of mainly 3 steps:
- Screening discussion (15-30 mins).
- Case study presentation by Candidate (30-40 mins).
- Management interview.
Additional Information
EQUITY BASED/NO SALARY
Note: Part-Time: Equity Base compensation.
We expect to launch the company within 6-12 months.

Pay: $141,678.00 - $154,087.00 per year.
