Position: Flutter Developer (Part-Time/Contract to Full-Time)

Location: Remote (with preference for Boston/Newton, MA area for occasional in-person meetings)

Job Type: Part-Time or Contract (potential to grow into Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the events module in FlutterFlow, covering event creation, registration handling, payments, waivers, and voting.
• Integrate with Supabase for managing user data related to registrations and votes.
• Collaborate with the Texas-based senior developer and participate in meetings with MA-based leadership.
• Write clean, maintainable Dart code and custom actions for app features.
• Test and debug functionalities for iOS and Android compatibility.
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements inspired by competitors.
• Adapt to startup needs by assisting with other app modules as required.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Flutter development, state management, and custom widgets.
• Proficiency in Dart and experience with API integration.
• Experience using no-code/low-code tools like FlutterFlow.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and payment processing.
• Able to work independently in a remote setting with effective communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in automobiles/car culture.
• Experience with Supabase and building social/event applications.
• Portfolio showcasing Flutter apps with user interactions.
• Willingness for occasional in-person meetings in Boston/Newton area.
