Job Description

We are seeking a talented and energetic DJ to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and entertainment, with the ability to engage and energize audiences at various events. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and excellent communication abilities to create memorable experiences for our clients and their guests.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Experience in public speaking to engage guests effectively during events.
• Background in customer service to ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after events.
• Familiarity with music genres and trends to create appealing playlists.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting related to sound equipment setup and teardown.
• Previous experience as a DJ or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory; passion for music is essential.
• Marketing knowledge is a plus for promoting events effectively.

Duties

• Curate and mix music playlists tailored to the event’s theme and audience preferences.
• Perform live at events, ensuring smooth transitions between songs and maintaining an engaging atmosphere.
• Utilize sound equipment effectively, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during performances.
• Interact with guests through public speaking, making announcements, and encouraging participation in activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and delivering personalized experiences.
• Promote events through marketing strategies, including social media engagement and networking within the community.
• Demonstrate dancing skills when appropriate to enhance the entertainment value of performances.
• Assist with heavy lifting of equipment during setup and breakdown of events.
