Job Description

We’re building a freelance bench of UX/UI Designers to collaborate on digital experiences for higher education clients. You’ll design interfaces and user flows that are intuitive, engaging, and visually aligned with brand identities.

Responsibilities

• Create institutional design systems and interactive campaign microsites
• Collaborate with UX strategists, researchers, developers, and writers to create cohesive user journeys
• Build and maintain design systems using atomic design principles
• Design micro-interactions and motion elements that enhance user experience and brand expression
• Ensure designs are accessible, responsive, and optimized for performance across devices
• Support usability testing and iterate based on feedback

Requirements

• 3–5 years of UX/UI design experience, ideally within an agency or digital product setting
• Advanced proficiency in Figma for prototyping and collaboration
• Strong understanding of atomic design principles, interaction design, accessibility, and responsive design
• Experience with motion design a plus
• Ability to present and rationalize design decisions clearly
