Kalasangama
Kalasangama is a unique production that blends Indian and Chinese classical dance forms with Buddhist influences. The project aims to highlight the connections between Dunhuang dance, as seen in the Mogao Caves, and Indian classical dance through hand gestures and intricate footwork. I am looking for a music composer skilled in both Chinese regional classical music and the Carnatic music of South India, who can create a score for the opening scene that authentically captures the essence of Dunhuang music. The project will take the audience from ancient Buddhist kingdoms of India along the Silk Road and seeks a soundtrack to support this journey. A link to a preferred musical style has been provided, and an audio file sample is available for reference. The project will be a single job with possible future work, fully remote, and delivery is expected within a few months.
