Job Description

We are looking for a Rockstar Frontend Developer to join our team! This role involves working on our internal consulting team to support a large automotive client in rebuilding their legacy website, which will be completely refreshed using React, Tailwind, Next.js, Vercel, and Contentful. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our tech stack remains cutting-edge.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
• Work with long-term partner off-shore development team members.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and technical standards.

Requirements

Essential:

• 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in React and its core principles.
• In-depth knowledge of Tailwind CSS for building responsive and modern UI components.
• Extensive experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of modern authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Strapi.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
• A portfolio showcasing previous projects and contributions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• A passion for staying current with new technologies and industry trends.
