Job Description

We’re seeking a talented Frontend Mobile Developer to join our dynamic startup team and help accelerate the development of our groundbreaking fitness competition app. You’ll be working directly with the founding team to enhance and expand our existing functional mobile application that’s already generating excitement among beta users. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the user experience of a product with proven market validation, while building the technical foundation for what will become a full development team. You’ll be instrumental in taking our app from beta to App Store launch and beyond, with the potential to grow into a technical leadership role as we scale.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and optimize the existing functional mobile application with tweaks and improvements
• Develop exciting new gameplay modes and competitive features within the current app framework
• Implement features from our growing product backlog using the established codebase
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and founding team on technical decisions and strategic implementation
• Prepare the application for successful App Store launch and public release
• Support the strategic expansion from iOS to Android development in future phases
• Contribute to scaling the application architecture as our user base grows rapidly
• Help establish development best practices as we build out the technical team

Requirements

• Proven experience in mobile app development with strong focus on iOS platforms
• Proficiency in frontend development frameworks and modern programming languages
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with existing codebases and implement enhancements
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative approach to feature development
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced remote startup environment
• Commitment to long-term engagement with excellent growth and advancement potential
• Passion for fitness, gaming, or competitive applications is a plus
• Experience with fantasy sports or gamification concepts is advantageous but not required
