Who are you?

In this role, you will bring:

• Deep knowledge of design methodologies, their appropriate application, and experience deploying them.
• Experience organizing, planning, leading, and delivering complex design initiatives.
• Imagination in designing impactful experiences both in and around the truck for Mack’s diverse audiences.
• A clear ability and creative approach to applying brand qualities across digital content creation, interaction, and experience design.
• Confidence in forging a path forward, even when direction is unclear.
• Expertise in motivating designers working in diverse projects to deliver on-time and on-target.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and graphic design skills.
• Expertise in guiding the design process, driving decisions, tracking issues, and assisting in estimating resources and schedules.

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Human Factors, or Cognitive Psychology.
• 8+ years in-depth knowledge and experience of user interface design with consumer applications, mobile devices, telecommunications, and automotive.

Preferred

• Master’s Degree.
• Team leadership experience.
• Ability to mentor team members.
• Ability to plan, craft, structure, and facilitate professional level design workshops.
• Working knowledge of the latest design and prototyping tools.

Salary Information

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $111,100 - $137,200 annually, and where applicable, is bonus eligible. The range is determined by factors including geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. We also consider internal equity of current team members as part of any final offer.
