E-Pub Book Designer & Formatter (Kindle, Apple Books, IngramSpark, BookFunnel, NetGalley)
We are looking for an experienced E-pub book designer to format our manuscript for distribution on multiple platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, IngramSpark, BookFunnel, and NetGalley. The expert should ensure the final files meet each platform’s technical requirements for a smooth upload and a professional reading experience. Responsibilities include formatting into EPUB 3.0 and possibly MOBI (for older Kindle versions), validating compatibility for all platforms, creating a clickable Table of Contents, embedding metadata, optimizing fonts, spacing, and images, and ensuring files render well across different devices. You will need to deliver validated files, source/design files, and offer one round of revision. Proven experience with these specific platforms, strong skills in HTML, CSS, XML, and a portfolio of similar projects are required. Familiarity with tools like InDesign EPUB export, Sigil, Calibre, and Vellum is preferred. Please submit your pricing, turnaround time, and examples of relevant multi-platform ebook projects.
