About the Role We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, accessible, and reliable data for analytics and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data. Build and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions. Optimize queries, pipelines, and workflows for performance and cost efficiency. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data reliability and scalability. Implement and maintain data governance, documentation, and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in data engineering, ETL development, or big data technologies. Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.). Familiarity with data pipeline/orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, Prefect, etc.). Knowledge of distributed systems and frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka). Preferred Skills Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of data modeling and schema design. Exposure to machine learning workflows and integration.
