Job Description

Volume11 is a web design and development agency based in Ridgefield, WA, looking for a part-time freelance designer to elevate our web design efforts. The role involves creating engaging and conversion-focused websites, collaborating closely with our dedicated team to ensure the designs stand out and perform well. We are seeking work that demonstrates depth of thought, innovative layouts, and animation that enhances user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design of client website projects from concept to launch.
  • Create page layouts, wireframes, and templates that align with client goals.
  • Design engaging graphics and incorporate subtle website animations.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all digital touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with our internal team (and occasionally clients) to refine design direction.
  • Select and prepare imagery and assets for client projects.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in web design, graphic design, and website animation.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing conversion-focused web designs.
  • Comfort working in WordPress (Kadence theme experience is a bonus).
  • Agency or freelance experience designing for multiple clients/projects.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in multiple formats.
  • Familiarity with design and photo editing software (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a remote setting and managing time effectively.
