Job Description
Edge Industrial Staffing is currently looking for a Product Designer for a local client in the Lebanon, IN area. We are hiring a Product Designer to create and improve commercial and industrial air distribution products.
Responsibilities
- Design parts, assemblies, and drawings in SolidWorks; manage data in PDM.
- Create/update drawings, BOMs, and part data in AS400.
- Support Engineering Change Requests and release design packages.
- Partner with manufacturing to ensure quality, reduce waste, and improve processes.
- Prepare reports using MS Office and follow safety guidelines.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (completed or in progress).
- Proficient in SolidWorks and MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD/Inventor.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Bonus: Experience with ANSYS CFD, Revit, VBA automation, Drive Works, and AS400.
Additional Information
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
