AI Engineer / Systems Integrator
AI Engineer is needed in Siargao Island, Philippines.
Steelmark is an Australian supplier of safety products and is launching a digital transformation project to improve its customer experience using AI. We are seeking an AI engineer or a small team to help design and implement our first pilot project. The main goal is to develop an AI assistant (Corey persona) that will function both as a pre-sales chatbot and a phone agent, handling tasks like providing quotes, answering delivery ETA questions, and managing FAQs. The system should integrate deeply with HubSpot CRM to create contacts and deals, as well as log structured notes from customer interactions. A key aspect of this project involves processing call recordings through speech-to-text engines, auto-summarizing crucial info, and ensuring compliance with specific knowledge base rules. Preferred candidates should be skilled in conversational AI, Python, APIs/webhooks (especially HubSpot and telephony), and speech-to-text technologies, with experience in CRM integrations. The pilot will run 4–6 weeks and deliver a web chatbot, phone agent, call transcription pipeline, HubSpot integration, and full documentation for ongoing operations. Although we prefer applicants from Cebu or the Philippines, all strong candidates based in the Philippines will be considered.
