Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design and development, focusing on creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. As a Freelance Designer, you will work on various projects, collaborating with clients to bring their visions to life while ensuring that all designs align with best practices in UX and UI.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and project requirements.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web applications and e-commerce platforms.
• Develop responsive web designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Implement design solutions that enhance user experience (UX) through effective user flows and data visualization techniques.
• Utilize tools like Visual Studio, Trello, and Jira for project management and version control.
• Work with back-end technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Microsoft SQL Server to ensure seamless integration of front-end designs.
• Apply knowledge of CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins or GitHub for efficient deployment processes.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality of web applications.
• Stay updated on industry trends in web development, SEO best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in front-end development languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including frameworks such as React or Angular).
• Experience with back-end technologies such as PHP, Python (Django), Ruby on Rails, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, or MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of system architecture principles and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of design tools for wireframing and prototyping (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including Docker, Ansible, or AWS for deployment automation.
• Experience in responsive web design principles and accessibility standards.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously using Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

Additional Information

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $39.90 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week

Work Location: Remote
