BruntWork - QA Engineer

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM MNL, with 30 mins unpaid break.
• 7.5hrs per day/ 37.5 hrs per week

About the Role:

We’re looking for a QA Engineer, ideally someone with around 2 years of experience in manual functional testing for web applications. Automation skills are a plus but not required. You will be fully involved in testing components, integration, and regression to ensure the quality of our software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional testing, including component testing, component integration testing, and regression testing
• Conduct Blackbox and Graybox testing based on requirements and experience
• Derive test cases from requirements, prior knowledge, and existing tool features
• Create, track, investigate, and recreate defects in both functional and technical ways
• Test 3rd party integration packages and libraries
• Use test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Test Rail, BrowserStack, or Azure to document and manage testing efforts

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in functional testing of web applications
• At least 2 years experience in Blackbox and Graybox testing
• Ability to write detailed test cases and investigate defects thoroughly
• At least 1 year of experience testing 3rd party integration packages/libraries
• Experience with test management tools like Jira, Zephyr, Test Rail, BrowserStack, or Azure
• Automation testing experience is a bonus but not required
