Gimble/Camera Operator - Fitness Content Filming

Location: Nashville, TN Commitment: Part-time / Freelance (2-3 hour shoots, weekends) About the Role We are looking for a skilled Gimbal/Camera Operator to assist with filming dynamic fitness content. You’ll be responsible for operating our Sony FX30 camera with gimbal stabilization to capture smooth, high-quality footage during workouts, training sessions, and promotional shoots. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creative shooting, understands motion and angles, and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced fitness environment. Responsibilities Operate camera and gimbal (Sony FX30 provided) to film workouts and fitness content. Capture smooth, cinematic footage while following movement in real-time. Adjust framing, angles, and movement to highlight exercises, equipment, and overall energy. Ensure proper lighting, focus, and stabilization during shoots. Collaborate with the creative lead to execute the vision for each session. Manage equipment setup and breakdown before and after shoots. Qualifications Prior experience with camera operation (experience with gimbals strongly preferred). Basic understanding of framing, composition, and motion tracking. Ability to follow direction while also offering creative input. Comfortable filming in gym/fitness settings with fast movement. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Nice-to-Have Experience shooting fitness, sports, or action content. Knowledge of Sony camera systems (FX30 or similar). Editing knowledge (not required but a plus). Compensation Competitive hourly rate (based on experience). Estimated commitment: 1–2 hours per session, primarily weekends.
