Job Description

We’re hiring experienced videographers to join the Orca Creative Team in Arizona. You’ll primarily record weddings. We’ll handle all the admin, culling, and editing. All you need to do is show up and capture beautiful videos!

Main Responsibilities as a Freelance Videographer

• Record weddings and elopements throughout the Phoenix area and the state of Arizona.
• Provide outstanding customer service to engaged couples.
• Document weddings with a photojournalistic approach to videography.
• Help couples pose during weddings so they feel confident and look flattering in their footage.
• Manage your availability calendar to accept freelance videography assignments.
• Deliver high-quality video footage.
• Act as a freelancer and independent contractor to represent the Orca Creative Team.

Freelance Videographer Requirements

• Experience as a wedding videographer with at least ten (10) weddings as lead photographer.
• Seasoned videographer with understanding of natural light, audio recording, and drone operation.

Equipment Requirement to be a Freelance Wedding Videographer

• Two (2) Full Frame Cameras with Dual Memory Card Slots
• Variety of Prime and Zoom Lens with f/2.8 or lower covering multiple focal ranges
• Audio Equipment; such as, Lavalier Microphone and External Recorder
• Lighting Equipment
• Drone

Equipment Requirement to be an Assistant Wedding Videographer

• One (1) Camera with Dual memory card slots
• Tripod with Video Fluid Head
• Prime lenses with large apertures, f/1.2, f/1.4, or f/1.8
• Zoom lenses with aperture of 2.8
• Audio Recorder (1 Lavalier Microphone)

Job Type and Compensation
