The Nyx Network - Experience videographer (Reality Tv)

Videographer is needed in Las Vegas, United States.

Client: The Nyx Network

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Contract: Freelance

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Videographer to join our reality TV production team. This is not your typical filming environment—reality TV is unpredictable, dramatic, and extremely fast-paced.

What to Expect:

• Long filming days, typically 12 to 16 hours.
• You will be hired as an independent contractor, not an employee.
• Our shoots are wild, high-energy, and very dramatic, with lots of altercations and unexpected moments.
• You must be comfortable following the action closely, staying quick on your feet, and capturing the drama as it unfolds—sometimes right in the middle of it.

Schedule:

• This is an on-call position.
• We typically film three days out of the month, with shoots scheduled in advance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video production techniques including filming, editing, and post-production processes.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
• Experience in creating motion graphics and understanding of videography principles.
• Familiarity with photography principles is a plus; experience with Adobe Lightroom is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• A portfolio showcasing previous videography work is highly desirable.
