Web Designer (WordPress, Elementor & Shopify)

Kanopy is a fast-growing digital growth agency that helps brands scale through smart strategy, performance marketing, and standout creative. We work across industries, managing websites, paid ads, SEO, and AI-powered tools for clients who trust us to deliver results. We’re looking for a talented Web Designer to join our team and own the design, build, and ongoing management of client websites.

The Web Designer will be responsible for building, editing, and maintaining websites for our clients, primarily using WordPress (Elementor) and Shopify. You’ll play a key role in delivering polished, functional, and conversion-focused sites that align with client goals and our agency’s growth strategies.

This role is ideal for someone who not only wants to design but also grow with the company. As Kanopy continues to expand, this position has the potential to evolve into a leadership role where you can build and lead a team around you.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and edit websites on WordPress (Elementor) and Shopify.
  • Manage client websites on an ongoing basis, ensuring performance, responsiveness, and design consistency.
  • Implement updates, redesigns, and optimizations as requested.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and SEO teams to ensure websites are optimized for search and conversions.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and implement fixes quickly.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of design trends, UX/UI best practices, and responsive/mobile-first design.
  • Ensure all websites meet accessibility and performance standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building and editing websites in WordPress (Elementor) and Shopify.
  • Strong eye for clean design, layout, and usability.
  • Working knowledge of basic front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with SEO basics and web performance best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Portfolio of previous WordPress/Shopify work (required).

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of website analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console).
  • Graphic design experience (Adobe Suite, Canva, or Figma).
