Job Description

We’re hiring experienced videographers to join the Orca Creative Team in Cincinnati. You’ll primarily be recording wedding sessions throughout the area. We handle all the admin, culling, and editing—your main responsibility is to show up and capture beautiful footage! Must be available for the following dates in 2025: October 17th and October 18th.

Main Responsibilities as a Freelance Videographer

• Record weddings throughout the Cincinnati area and the state of Ohio
• Provide outstanding customer service to engaged couples
• Document weddings with a photojournalistic approach to videography
• Help couples pose during weddings so they feel confident and look great in their footage
• Manage your availability calendar to accept freelance videography assignments
• Deliver high-quality RAW video footage
• Represent the Orca Creative Team as an independent contractor

Freelance Videographer Requirements

• Experience filming at least ten (10) weddings as a lead videographer
• Strong understanding of natural light, audio recording, and drone operation

Equipment Requirements

• Two (2) Cameras with Dual Memory Card Slots
• A variety of Prime and Zoom Lenses (f/2.8 or faster)
• Audio Equipment such as Lavalier Microphones and External Recorders
• On-Camera Lighting Equipment
• Drone and FAA License
