Job Description

The data developer role is a critical hire, focusing on ensuring data integration and workflows to enhance business success. The developer will leverage their database design and development experience to optimize and enhance existing data processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement and optimize database(s)
- Write stored procedures and ETL packages to support database activities
- Design and build environments using Azure
- Support views, reports, stored procedures, and job creation to assist end users and software development solutions
- Support data manipulation, generation, and cleanup requirements
- Manage the evolution of database environments throughout the software development cycle
- Monitor and troubleshoot operational database system issues
- Collaborate closely with application developers to deliver value to end users
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a SQL Developer
- 1 year of experience working in an agile / iterative development environment
Essential Job Functions
- Proficient in SQL Server 2019/22 with good SQL & ETL skills
- Knowledge of best practices for no-SQL databases
- Some experience or knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB
- Strong proficiency in SQL across popular databases
- Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements
- Knowledge of best practices for relational databases
- Ability to configure popular database engines and orchestrate clusters as needed
- Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
- Familiarity with tools for profiling server resource usage and optimization
- Experience with log analytics processing, monitoring, and alerting
