Job Description

KRDO13 is seeking a Spanish-speaking anchor and producer for a temporary position for our Telemundo newscast. The ideal candidate will have a strong on-air presence and broadcast producing experience. This position will also be expected to write digital content in Spanish. Prior newsroom experience is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Anchor newscast
• Select stories for newscast, write scripts and use showcasing elements.
• Must embrace breaking news coverage.
• Post news stories on station websites and social media platforms.
• Stay informed about content in daily newspapers, competitive websites and follow social media regularly.

Requirements

• A. or B.S. Degree preferably in journalism or English or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience in television news reporting
• Good attitude and team player
• Strong on-air presentation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail.
• Good driving record
