Job Description

This is a remote position for an Angular + Java Backend Developer (Mid-Level) with 5–7 years of experience. The role requires strong expertise in Angular for frontend development and Java (Spring Boot) for backend services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable web applications, integrating APIs, and working in agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop responsive and dynamic web interfaces using Angular (v10+).

2. Implement reusable components, services, and modules.

3. Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

4. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional interfaces.

5. Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

6. Integrate with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and third-party services.

7. Ensure security, scalability, and performance of backend services.

8. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

9. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product.

11. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

12. Maintain documentation and follow best practices in software development.

Requirements

Required Skills:

1. Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, RxJS, NgRx (optional)

2. Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate

3. Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB (any)

4. Tools: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, JIRA

5. Others: Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, Docker (optional)

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.

2. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

3. Familiarity with microservices architecture.

4. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
