Job Description

TheChristianJournal Co. is seeking a Short-Form Video Content Creator to produce inspiring and engaging videos that highlight our Christian stationery, journals, and faith-based products. The ideal candidate is both creatively driven and spiritually aligned, passionate about storytelling through video, and able to connect with our community in a way that feels authentic, uplifting, and trend-aware.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, script, and create short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) showcasing our products in engaging, relatable, and faith-filled ways.
• Stay on top of social trends and platform-native formats, while ensuring all content reflects Christian values and TheChristianJournal Co.’s mission.
• Film and edit product-focused, lifestyle, and inspirational videos that resonate with Christian communities online.
• Use editing techniques, captions, and audio to create eye-catching, scroll-stopping content.
• Collaborate with the team to align content with marketing campaigns, seasonal launches, and brand storytelling.
• Monitor performance metrics and suggest new content approaches to grow engagement and reach.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience creating short-form social media content (portfolio or TikTok/Reels examples required).
• Strong knowledge of editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
• Understanding of faith-based communities and ability to create content that is uplifting, encouraging, and scripture-aligned.
• Excellent grasp of hooks, storytelling, and trend integration to maximize reach.
• Strong attention to detail in product styling, visuals, and audio pairing.
• Bonus: Experience in product/lifestyle photography or motion graphics and AI video/image creation.

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
