Location: North Hollywood, CA

Contract: Temporary, Contract, Freelance

Job Description

As a Photographer for Ballet Business Arts, you will have the opportunity to photograph performances, rehearsals, and other events related to the ballet sessions scheduled for winter. This is an Independent Contractor position, and the length and hours may vary based on contracts set by the schools. The position requires reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to the site(s). There are potential opportunities for growth and additional contracts based on performance and results.

Start Date: December

Day/Time: Varies; Set by School on a per-contract basis

Requirements

  • Ability to work with children and parents in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical photography skills, including knowledge of lighting techniques, editing software, and a keen eye for composition
  • A genuine interest in photography, marketing, networking, and dance photography
  • Ability to lead photoshoots effectively
  • Collaborate with Directors of both Ballet Business Arts & the school to ensure a smooth photography session for parents
  • Understanding of compliance with all state and federal regulations as an independent contractor

Additional opportunities may include private sittings.

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $25+ per hour, with opportunities to earn more based on contract flexibility and growth.
