Job Description

Orca Creative Team is a nationwide network of talented wedding photographers and videographers, dedicated to capturing real moments with artistry and care. We are hiring experienced Assistant Photographers to join our Cincinnati team for the 2025 season and beyond. You will photograph weddings throughout the area while being part of our creative network, which handles all the administrative tasks, culling, and editing.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience shooting at least 3 weddings as an Assistant Photographer
• Strong understanding of natural light, posing, and flash (on & off camera)
• Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor — especially under pressure

Equipment Requirements:

• One (1) Full Frame Camera with Dual Memory Card Slots
• Prime and/or Zoom Lenses (f/2.8 or faster) covering multiple focal lengths
• On-Camera and Off-Camera Flash or Lighting Equipment

Main Responsibilities

• Photograph weddings, engagements, and elopements throughout the Cincinnati area
• Provide support to the lead photographer
• Capture candid, creative, and flattering images throughout the day
• Help couples feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera
• Deliver high-quality RAW image files after each event
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude with clients and team members
• Represent the Orca Creative Team as an independent contractor
