JOB DESCRIPTION

Ethika is seeking a part-time, in-house Photographer/Videographer to support our Creative and Marketing teams. This hybrid role will be responsible for producing photo and video content that aligns with brand standards and fuels campaigns across e-commerce, retail, and social media.

The ideal candidate is a highly creative, technically skilled visual storyteller who can capture, edit, and deliver compelling imagery and video content. This role requires someone who can thrive in both studio and on-location environments, work efficiently under deadlines, and collaborate closely with the creative team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capture and process high-quality photos and videos for campaigns, website, retail, and social media.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute studio and lifestyle shoots, from pre-production through editing.
• Operate cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment for both photo and video shoots.
• Edit and finalize content, incorporating color correction, retouching, music, dialogue, graphics, and effects.
• Deliver organized and properly archived media assets for internal use.
• Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams on concepting, storyboards, shot lists, and deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of best practices in photography, videography, editing, and emerging technologies.
• Provide creative and technical solutions for complex shoots in both controlled and dynamic environments.
• Support ad hoc creative needs, including short-form content (TikTok/IG Reels), event coverage, and brand campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of proven experience as a photographer and videographer (freelance, agency, or in-house).
• Strong technical expertise with camera systems & lighting equipment.
• Proficiency with editing software: Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects), Capture One, or equivalent.
• Strong portfolio showcasing both photo and video work.
• Excellent eye for detail, composition, color, and storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing and archiving large volumes of media.
• Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs and travel for select projects or weekends.

POSITION DETAILS

• Part-Time (On-site at Ethika HQ in Lake Forest, CA)
• Flexible schedule, with hours varying depending on project needs
• Reports to: Creative & Marketing leadership

RATES & COMPENSATION

• Hourly: $30

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
