Casting for Spanish-speaking lead actors

Casting Director is needed in Barcelona, Spain.

We are seeking two leading actors for a micro-drama project, which will be filmed over approximately seven days on Hainan Island, China, between the end of October and mid-November. The story is a romantic love story about a young couple, with a tone similar to the films “Culpa mía” and “Mala influencia.” As an independent casting director based in Barcelona, I am responsible for finding suitable candidates for these roles. The ideal candidates should have passports from countries with a 30-day free visa arrangement with China (please confirm visa eligibility), be fluent in Spanish for dialogue, and be able to communicate in English, as most of the crew are Chinese. Previous experience in vertical mini-series, or other productions such as films and commercial ads, is preferred. A Spanish translator will be on set. This is an onsite commitment, and applicants willing to travel are welcome. The project is a paid, single engagement for up to one week.
