Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Web Application Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of custom in-house .NET web applications and Windows console applications. The role involves working on system integrations, SQL Server reporting, and supporting various Engineering applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in full-stack .NET development, modern frontend frameworks, and database design, while demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing customized .NET applications.
• Develop and maintain interfaces and integrations between applications (data transfer via APIs, web services, SQL Server ETL, SharePoint Online, Azure Data Lake, Esri GIS).
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new custom applications as directed.
• Support and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
• Provide end-user support as part of the Applications Support Team.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack ASP.Net Web Forms / MVC development.
• 5+ years of strong C# programming experience with OOP and design patterns.
• 5+ years of frontend development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• 2+ years developing applications using React.js frontend and Node.js backend.
• 2+ years of database design & development in Microsoft SQL Server (stored procedures, functions, Entity Framework/ORM).
• 2+ years developing/maintaining system integration interfaces, REST APIs, and web services.
• 1+ year experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
• 1+ year of experience with SSRS report development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Required Soft Skills

• Strong ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage shifting priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or higher).
• Experience with AI API integration, machine learning workflows, and pre-trained models.
• UI/UX design using Figma or similar tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with Python and Esri GIS data integration.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (SharePoint, OpenText).
• Understanding of web security best practices (OAuth2, JWT).
• Exposure to Azure cloud environment.
• Prior experience with large government or construction industry projects (a plus).
