Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video production and editing. This role involves creating a docuseries documenting the resurrection of a legacy brand under new ownership leading up to a book launch in May 2026.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
• Shadow the owner to capture raw footage.
• Collaborate with team members to develop concepts and scripts for video projects.
• Operate video cameras and other equipment during shoots, ensuring optimal lighting and sound quality.
• Edit raw footage using software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite to produce polished final products.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Maintain organized files of all footage, edits, and final versions of videos.
• Pull short clips for social media.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography and editing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video production and editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe After Effects), and other relevant software.
• Strong understanding of videography techniques, including lighting, composition, and sound design.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work creatively under tight deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different departments.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards feedback.
• Must be based in South Florida for in-person shoots.
