Job Description

The role requires a strong hands-on experience in Golang programming and the development of infrastructure components using Go and Terraform. The candidate should be familiar with Kubernetes, AWS, and have experience with DevOps practices. The position is hybrid, based in Washington, DC, where the candidate will work onsite 4 days and remotely for 1 day. The candidate will be responsible for developing new functional features, debugging software defects, maintaining code quality, participating in solution design sessions, documenting solutions, and deconstructing business requirements into technical ones. Knowledge of code reverse engineering techniques is also essential.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Golang with a minimum of 2 years preferred experience in C programming.
• Strong understanding of Linux OS, including PKI Certificate management and SSH Key management.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Active Directory/LDAP user/group structures and querying LDAP.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as Single sign-on and MFA.
• Experience in additional programming languages such as Python or JavaScript (2 years preferred).
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub and with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• A self-driven individual with the ability to assess effort to complete work accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS is necessary.
• Ability to maintain high standards for code quality and optimize solutions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr. Benefits may include medical, dental & vision, critical illness, accident and hospital coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, disability insurance, health spending accounts, transportation benefits, and paid time off.
