Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our year-end marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will support various marketing initiatives, including expanding the Agency’s digital presence, engaging online audiences, and supporting fundraising and community outreach goals.

Duties

• Develop and execute a multi-platform social media strategy (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Create original, mission-aligned content (graphics, videos, stories, captions, reels, etc.)
• Draft and schedule regular e-blasts/newsletters using Constant Contact
• Monitor engagement metrics, track growth, and adjust strategy to maximize reach and interaction
• Collaborate with development and programs teams to highlight impact stories, events, and calls to action
• Assist with Giving Tuesday, a digital fundraising campaign
• Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices
• Help manage and grow our online community through comments, tags, DMs, and reposts

Requirements

• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Proficiency in major social media platforms and basic design skills (Canva)
• Experience or interest in email marketing platforms (Constant Contact)
• Passion to impact using social media tools
• Self-starter with strong time management and communication skills
• Video editing skills a plus (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.)

Additional Information

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Work Location: In person
