We seek an accomplished, customer-obsessed, and results-oriented Senior Manager of Design to lead our AI UX/UI Design Team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business partners to deliver impactful outcomes and oversee a team of designers driving the product experience. This position is a hybrid role requiring on-site attendance three days a week at specified locations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover customer needs.
- Translate needs into digital experiences and complex ideas into understandable concepts.
- Manage shifting priorities to provide direction on product prioritization.
- Advocate for the customer using human-centered design methods, including research and testing.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align with business needs.
- Drive end-to-end product design by framing problems and designing solutions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and interaction models.
- Deliver design assets for acceptance, development, and market launch in partnership with engineering.
- Teach, mentor, and guide designers.
- Prepare and manage department business plans, staffing projections, and budgets.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with User Experience design.
- 5+ years leading and mentoring design teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Generative AI and Agentic systems.
- Strong visual and UI design skills.
- Experience in providing creative direction.
- Experience designing for cross-channel experiences.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma).
Compensation and Benefits
Annual Salary: $140,425.00 - $229,600.00. This salary range is a general guideline and multiple factors are considered to determine the final salary, including work experience, education, and location.
