JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working on a fast-paced, deadline-driven Holiday Installation, this role is for a Local Seasonal Position. We’re looking for strong candidates that are highly self-motivated and equally talented, to assist in the execution, installation and completion of Lights, Décor, and Scenic Vignettes (both indoors and outdoors) for a local high-end Resort.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow creative direction, must have a creative eye.
• Assists with quality control on all holiday décor installation projects.
• Uses ladders and at times, conducts work above 2 stories of a property.
• Ensure all décor is safely placed and secured.
• Work safely independently and in a team setting.
• Make changes as requested by the Lead or Designer.
• Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum two years of set decoration experience.
• Good attitude and enjoyable to work with.
• Must be punctual to assigned shifts.
• Flexible schedule, weekends, evenings as needed.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have great attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written comprehension and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a calm demeanor with tight deadlines.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Previous experience working in theatrical, live events, or seasonal themed entertainment is preferred.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership and solve creative problems.
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with both guests and colleagues using a positive, clear speaking voice.
• Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and/or scaffolds to various heights. Being comfortable in a lift over 20’ a plus.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
