Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Designer & Fabrication Specialist to join our growing team. This role involves working with laser cutters, 3D printers, and vector design software to create and produce high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, hands-on production, and learning advanced manufacturing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutters and 3D printers to fabricate product components.
• Use design software such as AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and other vector tools to create, modify, and optimize product designs.
• Collaborate on new product development, offering creative input for design improvements.
• Prepare materials for manufacturing, including cutting and assembly.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet Combat Textiles’ standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, or similar).
• Experience operating laser cutters and/or 3D printers is a plus (training can be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Creative problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new techniques.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training preferred.

Additional Information

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
