Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Photographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for photography and videography, with the ability to capture compelling images and videos that tell a story. This role requires proficiency in various photography techniques, post-production editing, and an understanding of social media trends to effectively showcase our work. As a Freelance Photographer, you will work on diverse projects that may include events, portraits, product shoots, and more.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a photographer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in various styles of photography.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of color theory and color management principles.
• Experience in video production and filming is highly desirable.
• Excellent post-production skills including photo editing and video editing capabilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on client interaction and relationship building.
• Knowledge of journalism principles is a plus for storytelling through imagery.
• Familiarity with social media platforms for effective content sharing is beneficial.

Duties

• Capture high-quality photographs and videos for various projects, ensuring that all visual content aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and messaging.
• Edit and enhance images using Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and other relevant software to achieve desired results.
• Manage post-production tasks including photo manipulation, color management, and video editing using Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
• Provide art direction during shoots to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends in photography and videography to continuously improve skills and techniques.
• Assist in social media management by creating engaging visual content that drives audience interaction.
• Participate in sales efforts by showcasing portfolio work to potential clients and building strong relationships within the community.
