Job Description

Alt’s Operation is seeking a part-time freelance or part-time employee photographer and multimedia artist to join our fast-growing landscape company. This position will involve jobsite visits, staging, photographing, and capturing drone footage of customer landscape projects in various stages of construction. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who can translate business goals into compelling content, leveraging the latest design tools, video editing software, and AI technologies to streamline production and stay ahead of social media trends.

Requirements

• Previous photography and drone operating experience.
• Must provide own equipment, including camera, drone, computer, software, etc.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and engagement tactics.
• Ability to use a leaf blower/broom to clean jobsites before staging.
• Self-starter with the ability to meet company timelines.
• Flexible schedule.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of following an appointment schedule.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required, along with reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Provide a portfolio showcasing past work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Jobsite visits, staging, photography, and drone footage.
• Performs work as needed on a 1099 contract basis or as a part-time employee.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions.
• Create visually appealing imagery for interactive applications (Facebook, Instagram, and website).
• Stay current on the latest trends and adapt content accordingly.
• Develop monthly and weekly social media posting schedules aligned with promotions and seasonal trends.
• Skilled in video editing software and techniques.
• Always follow company safety policies and procedures.

Working Conditions

• Work is primarily performed outdoors during all seasons.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including inclement weather (rain, snow, heat, or cold).
• Moderate noise level in the work environment; hearing protection is required during equipment operation that exposes the individual to elevated noise levels.

Physical Requirements

• Stands and walks for long periods throughout the day.
• Squats, stoops, or kneels and lifts objects from the ground frequently.
• Full extension of arms above head and in front of the body.
• Occasionally carries and pushes/pulls weights of up to 50 pounds.
• Fine motor skills required for the use of small equipment and hand tools.

Salary & Employment Type

Salary: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 15 per week
