The video will combine immersive, real footage from the Manhattan Halloween Parade with scripted scenes across Brooklyn and Manhattan. The approach merges spontaneous documentary energy with stylized, controlled cinematography to tell the story of a character’s transformation amidst the city’s evolving atmosphere.

The film’s tone will shift naturally from festive chaos to thoughtful introspection as the night unfolds. I am looking for a cinematographer, director of photography, stylist, and makeup artist to help bring this vision to life. Styling should feel authentic, fluid, and modern, avoiding exaggeration and instead focusing on subtle reinterpretations of classic characters. Makeup is central to the narrative, enabling key emotional shifts. This is a small, passionate project that will involve filming on location in New York for a day or two, requiring creativity and readiness to work on site throughout.

Who are you, and what do you do?
My name is Maximilien, and my artist one is Skovrann, I’m a 23-year-old Franco-Swiss artist — singer, writer, and visual storyteller. I grew up in an artistic family with a mother who was a jazz and opera singer. I started with piano before discovering rap than singing, which became my main form of expression through adolescence. Beyond music, I’ve always been fascinated by cinema and visual storytelling. Since the age of 11, I’ve been filming, editing, and directing my own videos, learning everything through practice. My clips, all self-produced, have reached tens of thousands of views and been featured by outlets such as Electro News. I also trained at Abbey Road Institute in music production and sound design, and took acting workshops to better understand rhythm, emotion, and performance. My creative universe mixes fantasy, emotion, and realism, drawing inspiration from both Tolkien’s worlds and urban life. I’m interested in contrasts — beauty in chaos, humor in drama, and poetry in the absurd. “Party in Gotham” is an artistic experiment shot partly during the real Halloween Parade in Manhattan. The idea is to blend raw street energy with cinematic moments in a project that feels alive and instinctive. I’m looking to collaborate with cinematographers, makeup artists, stylists, and other creatives who are open, curious, and ready to help shape something sincere and visually bold. It’s a small production driven by authenticity, collaboration, and passion.
